Don't die; please don't die, live for me,
I know you are quite fascinated with the crimson freedom,
But I want you to live, free from your pains and afflictions,
Free to fly from the anchor that is your confusion.

I don't just want you to fly; I want to fly too,
I want to see the sunrise above the grey clouds of our worlds,
I want to know peace when all I know is darkness,
I guess I just have hope, and want your dreams to come true.

So would you walk with me? As we skip for old time’s sake,
And if we have no cherish able memories, let us live in fiction,
Just as long as we find the keys to undo the chains at our feet,
So we can fly again, to find the beauty of the sunrise.

And all our days we could spend, till were bent, grey and old,
And we could spoil each others grandchildren,
And laugh about how easy things used to be,
And remember all the memories we have now.

Friend I am, and always will be,
I’ll read your poetry, and help you remember peace,
Comfort the pains, that run so deep,
And maybe, just maybe, I can be that dream that came true.
This one is for Summer. [link] Its another one of those responcive poems, but I din't take line per line, just responded to it. I hope everyone can get something from it, tell me how it goes.

Something at the end, it's something that feels off, I can't put my finger on it.

But, over all, gorgeous. Makes me thrill ever-so-slightly as I read it because I understand it. A poem from the heart, yours, or someone in mind?

Gorgeous. I like this.
